Shipping information

We primarily use 1 of 4 methods of shipping. Airmail, Registered airmail, EMS and Ocean freight/Land. Below is a summary of each method.

If you would like to check prices for yourself before ordering you can check our postal systems website (click the top for English). www.post.gov.tw

All shipping charges are quoted once we are contacted. Shipping charges are not automatic and vary a great deal, so we must calculate once we get your final order.

Airmail

Airmail is our most common way of shipping as it is very safe and reliable, relatively fast and cheap. Packages generally arrive within 1-3 weeks to most countries. It will arrive in most countries within 7 days, and from there varies as to that country's delivery speed.

Air mail has no tracking or customs declaration. Stamps, address, return address and shipping stamp.

If packages are not claimed they are either returned to sender or destroyed in most countries. Most often air mail packages will be left on your door, but if you use a postal box or mail box they mail have time limits mail can stay in the box before its discarded.

Registered Airmail

Registered airmail is the same speed as regular airmail. The difference is there is a full shipping form, customs declaration, insurance option and tracking.

If packages are not claimed most countries will return to sender, though some countries will not do this for free and the importer needs to pay to have it shipped or it will be destroyed.

EMS

Like registered airmail, EMS has full tracking and customs declaration. EMS is express registered, and takes 4-9 days to most countries.

If packages are not claimed they will be returned to sender. If they contain items that are controlled and without proper documents, they will usually be destroyed as with any shipping method.

Ocean Freight

Ocean freight/land is the cheapest, but the slowest. Delivery is 2-4 months but costs a fraction. Unfortunately this method is not the safest and it will often get bumped a bit. Suggested for non-living products such as herbs or non-breakable garden supplies.

If packages are not claimed they might get sent back to sender. Packages are often delayed via this method and we have been told of shipping robbery claiming packages that sail through certain African/European/Asian routes, though we have not yet lost a package with this method.

Fedex & DHL

We can ship this route, but only upon request because both companies are incredibly expensive.
