Acacia confusa - Taiwanese Acacia
Type of Plant: Acacia confusa is a native plant of Taiwan and most commonly grows in the mountains up to 1800m. It inhabits very harsh terrain that sees little rain for months followed by torrential rains and typhoons. The bark to the tree is rich in tannins and is recently being used as a source plant for DMT in Ayahuasca.
